Jenna Benson, MD

Dr. Benson has been practicing in coastal South Carolina for seven years and is excited to bring her skills to Murrells Inlet. Dr. Benson is happy to provide high quality cataract surgery using the most advanced technology in pre-operative screening, measurements, and implantable lenses. She enjoys guiding every patient through the experience of cataract surgery and seeing them enjoy life, and better vision, on the other side. Dr. Benson also offers the latest advances in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, either in combination with cataract surgery or separate, as an option for certain patients to reduce drop burden or slow the progression of glaucoma.

In addition to her practice in South Carolina, she feels strongly about using her skills to reduce blindness from cataracts around the world including Central and South America, Rwanda, and Ghana. She regularly goes on medical missions to offer surgery to those who need the life-changing experience of cataract removal.
